There are still too many people in rural communities that have to walk 5 kilometres to collect their drinking water from the nearest dirty stream. As water scarcity increases, this walk can become longer, and can take hours out of getting and education at school, or earning an income at work. Furthermore, lack of access to water widens the gender inequalities we face, as it is often the duty of the women and girls to collect the water.
By donating to install water pumps into school and communities, you will be helping us to change lives and empower women and girls.
Asante sana. Thank you.
